Der Begriff „Equinox“ leitet sich von dem Lateinischen aequinoctium her, aequus (gleich) und nox (Nacht). Zu dem Zeitpunkt der Equinox haben Nacht und Tag, überall auf unserem Planeten, etwa die gleiche Länge. Wir bezeichnen dieses Ereignis auch als Tagundnachtgleiche. Dies geschieht zweimal jährlich, am 20. März und am 23. September. – Wikipedia
In 2020 war Equinox auch der Beginn eines weltweiten Lockdowns. Das tägliche Leben in der Mehrzahl aller Länder kamen zu Stillstand, um die pandemische Ausbreitung eines Virus zu stoppen. Gemeinsam lebten wir in Selbstisolierung. – Der Frühling, in meinem Garten, brachte nicht nur Leichtigkeit und Licht sondern auch tiefe Ungewissheit.

In 2020 the equinox also marked the beginning of a global lockdown. The daily life in most of the countries on the planet came to a stand still to control the pandemic spread of a virus. All of use were send into self-isolation. In my garden I found myself in a wilderness, between fear and care. – In the northern hemisphere spring arrived bringing not only ease and light but the darkest outlook and uncertainty.
